(Sorry guys. I've been reading a lot lately about various violent crimes and, particularly, hate crimes. I'm apalled at myself for being so completely naive about all of this. Anyway, although this may seem trivial. I'm just going to post about it here.)

Light
A light that
never goes out even
though you tried to
extinguish
it with your
clubs and cold steel
bullets and fists and
nuclear weapons.

It is
a light that
never goes out even
when you told it
to because it
stood out and for
that it
had to be blown
out.

How could it
not stand out?
One light against

a swirling screaming mass

a world of dark

Always love,

I don't really think that there is much to say myself about hate crimes that hasn't already been said. They *are* sickening, as you said, Jesse. I don't understand any of the hatred myself, that may be my upbringing or maybe I just came up with it on my own, I can't be sure.
