Boy
I left you
there and you made me
regret your rusty face
and all that time we spent
at the ocean watching
seagulls destroy the shells
of clams and oysters.

Boy,
I want to split you into
a million little bony fragments
in my mind, but
the whole rusty red memory of your
face is all I can see.

We asked
so many questions
that now my mind has dried and turned to
salt and I don't think
I could answer them anyway.

Boy,
we started with you staring
at me, a
dusty red arid wind
that would not wait to envelope
my skin and eyes and teeth
and blow them
off into the horizon.

We asked
so many questions
but now my mind has dried and turned to
salt and I don't think
I could answer them anyway.

There you go, another poem courtesy of me.

Enjoy,

I am feeling weird and tired today, so my comment is probably going to be sub-par. Maybe tomorrow I'll write something better. Maybe tomorrow I'll be better suited to read the peom and determine what it actually means. Maybe that.

Apologetically,

Okay, round 2.

I read the poem over again, and this time I'm fully awake. I'm still not entirely sure what this is about, my closest guess would be about someone else's persistant yet unwanted affection towards you and you trying to get him to go away, but I'm probably wrong. Anyway, it's a great poem, and I like the line structure.
